An open invitation to help define the work
AESRD seeks expressions of interest from people with experience in marine biology, behavioural ecology, taxonomy, mathematical biology, distributed systems, statistics, research software and public engagement. An expression of interest is a conversation starter, not an appointment.
Institutional affiliations will be displayed only with a contributor’s permission and must not imply endorsement by their employer. There are no invented profiles or honorary positions in this directory.
What a future profile will contain
A published profile will identify the contributor’s name, agreed role, affiliation if permitted, areas of expertise, short biography, selected publications and contact preference. Images and external links will require permission and verification.
Profile records are designed to support drafts, approval dates, consent records and withdrawal. The content guide includes a typed profile model for future use.
Ways to contribute
Review the research agenda for missing literature. Help test a simulation against its stated assumptions. Propose a clearly scoped working group. Contribute an accessible explanation that survives expert scrutiny.
The initial priority is to establish responsible editorial and governance practices before assigning titles. All expert-network positions remain open.
