Public service status

Online complaints, membership expressions of interest, enquiries and participation submissions are temporarily closed. This public website has no collection forms, submission database or administrative access. Procedures describing intake or record handling are proposals for a future service.

Classify the claim

Every output should distinguish established findings, explanatory synthesis, theoretical connections, speculative ideas and proposed AESRD work. The first-edition library contains original editorial drafts; it has not been externally peer reviewed.

Article categories describe a document’s purpose, not the strength of its evidence. A working-paper identifier is an internal reference and not a DOI.

Trace the evidence

Cite primary research where possible, verify bibliographic details and retain source links. Describe the organism, setting and method to which a finding applies. Do not extend a result from one species to all shrimp, or turn correlation into a causal conclusion.

Make computation inspectable

Describe equations, variables, assumptions, parameters, random seeds and stopping rules. Separate synthetic data from observations. Publish sensitivity analyses and failures alongside illustrative successes.

Before any fieldwork or biological experiment, obtain appropriate expertise, permits, ethical review and data agreements. This website does not authorise collection or experimentation.

Review and accountability

A responsible editor should record review scope, conflicts, revision history and approval. Authorship must reflect real contributions and consent. Corrections should be visible and linked to the affected text rather than silently erasing material errors.
