Procedural fairness, conflicts and recordkeeping. This remit is intended to be reviewed against the association’s actual capacity before any appointment is made.
Proposed terms of reference
- Separate intake from substantive judgement.
- Reassign matters involving reviewer conflicts.
- Record decisions without publishing private submissions.
A future chair should maintain an agenda, record conflicts, assign bounded actions and publish an appropriate summary. Private submissions and personal information must remain protected.
Potential activities
Review the proposed complaints pathway. Online intake is temporarily closed, and the proposed procedure does not predetermine the merits of a complaint.
Appointments and participation
No chair, secretary or members have been appointed. Expressions of interest may identify relevant expertise and a specific contribution; they do not confer a position.
