Scope of work

Terminology for eusociality, literature classification and document status. This remit is intended to be reviewed against the association’s actual capacity before any appointment is made.

Proposed terms of reference

  1. Record the evidence behind each classification.
  2. Distinguish biological taxonomy from website indexing.
  3. Refer disputed identifications to qualified specialists.

A future chair should maintain an agenda, record conflicts, assign bounded actions and publish an appropriate summary. Private submissions and personal information must remain protected.

Potential activities

Prepare a glossary and a decision log for ambiguous cases. A shrimp will not be reclassified merely to improve the filing system.

Appointments and participation

No chair, secretary or members have been appointed. Expressions of interest may identify relevant expertise and a specific contribution; they do not confer a position.
